 i have watched Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus and made a comic using Comic life in class. it is about a boy who wants to belong and fit in. it is about a guy, who is not very popular or well known, no dress sense and is a bit of a loser. he wants the popular pretty girl (who is out of his league) but she is dating the popular jock, who's handsome and buff and good at sport. 

he wants to belong and fit in with all his school peers but he doesn't feel like he fits in or belongs there. he tries his hardest to become friends with the jocks but they just made fun of him and laughed. by the end he gets the girl by just being himself and she likes him back. but then at the end a disco falls on his head. then we see it was all a dream and that none of this did really happen and he goes back to a loser who doesn't fit in.

 THE COLD WAR

From reading the observer from the 1960s, I learnt people were very worried about the cold war. the cold war was a period in time where the Soviet Union and united states were in Politic tension. This started just after world war 2. It is not 100% sure the actual dates when it started and stops but it was around 1947-1991. The reason it was called the cold war is because there was never any actual fighting and big fights, they only threatened and had big arguments. Both sides at allies. United stated was called the western bloc, while the Soviet Union was called the eastern bloc.

The cold war was caused by tension between the two country’s after the war, fear of communism in the united states and also the emerge of nuclear weapons. Both, soviet and the states did not trust each other and were both ready to fight if needed.

when the Berlin Wall came down, borders opened, and free elections ousted Communist regimes everywhere in eastern Europe. Then later in 1991 the Soviet Union itself dissolved into its component republics. Then very quickly the Iron Curtain was lifted and the Cold War came to an end.
